The 2015 National Science & Technology Prize Meeting was hold in the Great Hall of the People on the 8^th January, 2016, and the "High Yield with Top Quality Cotton Variety LMY28" won the 2^nd Prize, for which Biocentury is one of the co-owners together with Shandong Cotton Research Institute, the Biotechnology Research Institute (CAAS) and Shandong Yingxing Seed Company. LMY28 has been a superior Bt OP cotton variety with tremendous contributions to the cotton production with insect resistance, high yield and good lint cotton quality in the Yanggtze River Region and Xinjiang Province since its national registration in 2006.
